Armed Robbery/Felony Flight

On June 15, 2011 at about 12:15 am an Aggravated Robbery occurred at the El Rancho Motel, located at 2201 S. 4th Avenue. The Yuma Police Department was notified shortly thereafter by the victim. The initial investigation revealed brothers Samuel and Fabian Clark had assaulted the adult male victim and stole property from him. Information was developed and later that same day, Samuel Clark, 35 years old of Yuma, was arrested and booked into jail for his role in the robbery. Fabian Clark, 33 years old of Yuma, was not located.
On July 11, 2011 at about 7:30 pm officers observed Fabian Clark driving an SUV in the area of 8th Street and Avenue B. Officers attempted to stop him but he failed to yield. Fabian Clark continued driving at speeds consistent with the speed limit. During the pursuit, Fabian Clark dumped suspected drugs from the vehicle and he eventually stopped the vehicle in the area of County 14 Street and Highway 95. He complied with orders from the officers and was taken into custody. Fabian was booked into the Yuma County Detention Facility for Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Flight, Endangerment, Reckless Driving and a Felony Parole Violation Warrant.
