Trash Pickup Days Will Change; City Hall Also Closed The Preceding Friday

City Hall Hours

Yuma City Hall will be closed Monday, May 28 for Memorial Day. Additionally, City Hall will be closed Friday, May 25 as part of the normal Customer Convenience Schedule. Residents may pick up a free calendar of City Hall closure days and trash pickup days on their next trip to City Hall at the front desk.

Trash Collection

Black plastic bag of trash leaning against a green trash barrel with wheels. Residential refuse collection for homes inside Yuma city limits will change that week due to the holiday. City of Yuma residents who normally have their garbage picked up on Mondays and Thursdays will have collections on Tuesday and Thursday of that week. City residents whose pickup days are normally Tuesdays and Fridays will have their collections on Wednesday and Friday of that week.

Other Services

Residents can still pay their city services bill, register for a Parks and Recreation program and more whenever City Hall is closed by visiting www.YumaAZ.gov

Customer Convenience Schedule

The City Hall Customer Convenience Schedule is out and now available from the home page of the City's web site, www.YumaAZ.gov. Just look for the clock icon in the top of the right hand column, above the City 73 icon. That link will take visitors to a PDF document containing both the City Hall schedule and solid waste pickup schedule that can be downloaded and printed or stored for the user's convenience.

For those without easy internet access or who prefer to visit City Hall in person to take care of their business, a limited number of colored print calendars (City Hall schedule on one side; solid waste pickup schedule on the other) are available at City Hall. Printed calendars are available on a first come, first served basis in City Hall at the front desk; at the Customer Service (City services/water bill) counter; and on the second floor at the front counter of Community Development
