2013 Great Yuma Road Race 5K/10K Run and Fun Walk Results

On Saturday, February 2, 2013 the Great Yuma Road Race 5K and 10K Run and Fun Walk took place and had a fantastic turnout of 350 participants.

Great Yuma Road Race participants were broken up into male and female categories by age group: 9 and under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+. Medallions are awarded to gold, silver and bronze winners in each age group.

About the Winter 5K and 10K Run and Fun Walk Series

At the end of the five-run-series, individuals with the highest number of points in each age bracket (the winner must have participated in more than one race) will receive a plaque and every fun walker that has participated in all five events also receives a plaque. At each event the first place finisher receives 20 points, second place receives 15 points, third place receives 10 points and the remaining participants receive five points.

There is only one race remaining in the 2012-2013 Winter 5K and 10K Run and Fun Walk Series.

  • March On City Finals - Saturday, March 9th at 8:15 a.m. SHARP at the West Wetlands
    Pre-registration is $8 and is available until Thursday, March 7th at 1 pm. On-site registration beginning at 7:00 a.m. is $15

Registration for any or all of the future 5K and 10K runs in the series is available online at www.YumaAZ.gov/parksandrec, by phone at 373-5243 or in person at the Parks and Recreation office at City Hall.
