Renowned safety expert and author Paul Henry Danylewich returns to Yuma for one day only to host “Fearless: The Complete Personal Safety Guide for Women,” open to females only.  Yuma Parks and Recreation will present the class twice, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and again from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Clymer Recreation Center, 553 S. Orange Ave.

The cost is $26 per person. Girls ages 12 to 17 must attend with a female adult.  Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a pair of socks.

Advance registration is preferred; please call (928) 373-5243, stop by the Parks and Rec office on the first floor of City Hall, One City Plaza, by 6 p.m. Thursday, or register online at www.YumaAZ.gov/ParksAndRecreation.  Participants may register at the door prior to the event; however, none will be taken once the class is full.

This informative class is a mixture of lecture, demonstration and practical examples. Participants will leave class with more confidence, awareness and a new set of skills, according to class literature.
