Get out to the ball field and enjoy a fun time with your friends! Men's and women's competitions start with round robin play followed by championship playoffs.

About Over-the-Line Games

Over-the-line is a game related to baseball and softball. Like those games, you have the batter, pitcher, and fielders. Because a game requires only three people per team, it's considerably easier to get a good informal game going. No ball gloves are allowed except in women's games.

An over-the-line court comprises a triangle and an open ended rectangle marked by lines. The base ("The Line") of the triangle is 55 feet long, and the distance from the line to the opposite point ("Home") is also 55 feet. The rectangle is comprised of two parallel ropes or lines that extend out indefinitely away from home starting from the two ends of The Line and at a right angle to The Line. The area between the parallel ropes and over The Line is fair territory. Everything other than the triangle and fair territory is foul territory.

Admission

Early registration will be held March 25 through August 1, 2013. The cost for early registration is $40 per team. The fee for late registration will be $50 per team (if space is available). Registration may be done in person at City Hall, by mail or via phone.
