Who doesn't love tacos?! Sign up to be a taco vendor and compete to become Yuma's Taco King. Professional, amateur and/or fundraising/service organizations are invited to participate. Have an old family salsa recipe that can't be beat or a new idea that you'd like to try? Sign up to be one of the many salsa vendors featured at the Taco Festival.

Activities, Contests, Live Entertainment, Food and Refreshments

The Taco Festival brings people from all over the southwest together as they enjoy activities, contests, live entertainment, food and refreshments. Festival goers are invited to feast on tacos as Yuma's finest taco vendors compete for the title of "Yuma's Taco King." Sample and vote on your favorite salsa from local competitors vying for the chance to be "Yuma's Salsa Queen" winner. The Vendor Village will be filled with business and craft vendors for those who like to shop. Adults can visit the Cerveza Garden and Tequila Tent to enjoy beer, margaritas and tequila. Entertainment for the kids will include piñatas, face-painting, jumpers, pony rides, games and more! Community performers will entertain from 11 am - 2 pm.

Yuma is Turning 100!

Centennial City logoIt's true, Yuma is turning 100! The City of Yuma is commemorating this milestone with a week-long community celebration starting Monday, April 7, 2014 and ending with the largest event of the week on Saturday, April 12, 2014, from 11am - 11pm at Desert Sun Stadium. The Fourth Annual Taco Festival (11am-11pm), one of Yuma's most popular, free and tasty events, and the Centennial Music Festival (2pm-11pm) featuring local and regional bands with headliners Creedence Clearwater Revisited and Lonestar.

Booths are Available at the Vendor Village

Business & craft booths are available in the Vendor Village. Local performance companies are being sought to demonstrate their company's talented students. Musicians, Bands, Folkloric, Martial Arts, Dance, Zumba, etc. - all are welcomed to participate. There is no fee to participate, but you are required to complete an application. We encourage you to get a vendor booth to increase your exposure.

City Hall currently operates a customer convenience schedule to allow for extended hours of operation.

City Hall normal hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please keep in mind City Hall is closed every other Friday.
