6/3/2010The City Clerk’s Office is responsible for updating and maintaining the Yuma City Charter and the Yuma City Code.

The Yuma City Charter is the “constitution” of the City and can only be amended by a majority vote of the qualified electors of the City of Yuma. The Yuma City Code is a compilation of ordinances, commonly known as local laws, which are adopted by the City Council. The Yuma City Code is amended by ordinances that are adopted by the Yuma City Council. Both the Yuma City Charter and the Yuma City Code are available on-line to view, search and print.
