3/4/2010Beginning July 1, 2006, the Public Works Department was restructured and divided into three distinct areas of operation: Streets, Solid Waste, and Fleet Services. The Public Works Department continues to provide a variety of services for the citizens of Yuma, and works hard to achieve its mission.
Streets Division (Road Maintenance)
The Streets Division takes care of maintaining 312 centerline street miles. Although this is a multi-faceted operation, their primary concern is to prolong the life of City streets in a quality and cost effective way, while keeping them safe to drive on. Find out more about the Streets Division...

Solid Waste Division (Garbage Collection & Recycling)
