Adopt An Amenity (pdf)
You can have a significant impact and help grow Yuma's parks with a donation of equipment. Consider investing in our community by adopting one or more amenities.

Alcohol Permits
Permit holders are allowed to bring alcoholic beverages into the park. Permits are issued for use ONLY on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays for Gateway, West Wetlands, Carver, Kennedy, Smucker, Caballero, Joe Henry, Riverside and Friendship Parks.

Facility Reservations
Looking for a venue to host a sporting event, family picnic, quinceañera, corporate celebration or birthday pool party? Reserve a park or athletic facility for a something special! The City of Yuma has a vast selection of venues to choose from.
Fill out a Facility Reservation Form to get the process started. The Parks and Recreation Facility Committee meet weekly to review facility requests. Please turn in your completed form (doc) at least ten days before the date requesting. We are also available to meet with groups to discuss event logistics and share our experience to assist in a successful outcome for most types of events. Please call 373-5243 to request a meeting.

Those looking for physical competition or mental challenge can find both in the Yuma Senior Games; hundreds of active seniors will participate in over 40 different events. The Senior Games are held in January each year and the registration form is generally available in November.

Vendor Permit Application (pdf)
Relevant vendors may apply for a permit to sell legal, consumable items. Vendors with permits will be allowed in West Wetlands, Gateway, Carver, Joe Henry Memorial, Kennedy and Smucker Parks.
